Colleges and universities are taking the problem of drug and alcohol abuse or addiction very seriously. To that end, they have not only put consequences in place, but have also moved into hard-hitting initiatives that will help prevent the problem in the first place.

There are various types of drugs that are available to high school and college students. The abuse of illicit substances has a major impact on school performance in children and teens.
